2009-09-25 Main desktop: upgraded my workstation to an intel based build:
- E6500 2.9 ghz dual core intel CPU
- AsRock G41MH-GE motherboard
- 640Gb WD Blue (1Tb wd black later)
- 2x1Gb ram AData (later 4gb Kingston HyperX )
- Pleomax PSP1100 speakers
2010
- Moved all from a crummy noname atx case to a Floston topsider black case
2010-09-26
- Added a Gigabyte nVidia GT 220, 1024MB DDR3 video card
2011
- My old IDE DVD-RW failed. Nearly the same day I found a discounted Asus SATA Lightscribe drive in the back of a retail store shelf. It was a quarter of the usual price, and hidden behind other boxes
2012-01-27
- Upgraded all the innards to an I7 build. So we can say that the e6500 desktop was decommissioned. I only kept the hdd’s and the case for the new build.
